Customer Reviews and Experience
Belle's consistently receives positive feedback from its customers, especially highlighting its warm atmosphere and delicious offerings. One reviewer, Samantha B., shared her appreciation for the "wonderful and soft" breakfast sandwich served on a croissant, though she noted that the place can get busy, so it’s a good idea to arrive early. Another guest, Niki N., praised the location's proximity to the marina, which allowed them to enjoy a unique view of large boats while waiting. Despite a 1-hour wait, she found the experience to be well worth it, with plenty of comfortable seating to relax.
For Dennis E., Belle's offered a fantastic dockside dining experience with great views and satisfying food. He particularly enjoyed the New England Clam Chowder, describing it as flavorful and hearty. His wife also loved the generous portion of lox in the Lox and Bagel dish, making it a great value. Although the BLT sandwich had a bit too much lettuce and overly crispy bacon, the overall experience left a positive impression.

This was our favorite breakfast spot while in Newport! Located in the Marina and you actually get to walk through the boat section! So fun seeing how large boats are out of water and up close! There was a long wait, we waited for 1 hr 15 mins but honestly worth it. There are couches to hang while waiting and the weather was perfect so we were not complaining! We got to watch a few boat teams prep and set sail, so cool seeing that! The food all looked amazing watching everyone's come out! We already knew what we wanted by the time we sat down lol Pancakes were great and the Lox sandwich hit the spot! We also had a burger which was cooked just right. Even though the wait was long the hostess was keeping us updated and staff was all very nice and efficient! Overall great experience!
Belle's in Newport offers a casual, dockside dining experience that pairs great views with solid food. My wife and I enjoyed the Clam Chowder, which was flavorful and satisfying. My wife particularly loved the Lox and bagel, noting that the generous portion of lox made it a great value. My BLT sandwich, while fresh, had a bit too much lettuce and overly crispy bacon. However, the overall experience was enhanced by the active shipyard setting and stunning yacht views. For the price, it's a fantastic spot for a laid-back meal by the water, especially if you love maritime scenes. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere can't be beaten.
Lovely spot on the water with spot on service. We got the twin lobster rolls with Cole slaw and the Cobb salad with blackened shrimp. I would highly recommend both. The blackened shrimp was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. The lobster was generous, chilled and lightly tossed in mayo. Will definitely be back on my next trip to Newport!
Their crab cake benedict was DELICIOUSSS! That's saying a lot coming from a person who usually doesn't like breakfast foods. So happy I gave this a try. I don't think I could ever go back to a regular eggs benedict after having this one. On a breezy day, Belle's is pure morning relaxation. Great people watching and cute view of the water and ships. Getting to the restaurant is a little tricky, though. There was someone guiding us towards to restaurant but you essentially have to walk through the shipyard area before reaching the black and white tiles that lead you to the restaurant.
Delicious breakfast spot in newport harbor. It is very small cafe. Make sure to get in early as it gets packed and there will be a long wait for larger parties. I had the breakfast sandwich on the croissant; it was wonderful and soft. Food was very good but the wait was long.
